It's a palm! It's a rose! Nope. It's a grass. But it used to be sold as "Indian" or "Turkish" geranium oil for the adulteration of rose oil, so that's pretty cool. That pure rose oil is expensive.
Today, palmarosa is mostly used for skin care due to its moisturizing properties. People use it for nervous exhaustion, anxiety, and stress-related conditions.
